Contact your Coucilman's office. They have lots of info. of what programs are in their district. You should also have a neighborhood law office for low income for free legal advice.How can i get to talk to lawyers for free about details case information and advice?
start walking through the phone book and call down the list of lawyers until you get one that will talk to you ';about your quick question about ------';. then milk the conversation for as long as you can until he realizes that you are just fishing for free info and ends the call. any unanswered questions save for the next one who is willing to talk.
Talk to a Criminal lawyer who deals in corrections law. Most criminal lawyers may be able to help by either filing an application for a Pardon and Restoration of civil rights. btw, let me know which state you are in. Contact your State bar association and ask for a referral from the Pro bono Project. That is free.


You may also want to talk to Legal Aid or Legal Services as well. Let me know how that goes.
