Well that would depend on what type of problems you are having.
If you have no will it goes to intestate succession. The state law describing how the estate will be divided up.
If the death was a long time ago even with a will you may be out of luck because states have law regarding how long you have to probate a will.
If your problem is with the attorney, then you could make a complaint with the bar assn, although you may find they are sometimes lax on punishment for attorneys depending on the grievance and frequency the atty is complained about.
