#1, when you recive your chicks you have to keep them housed... the reasons are,they need 2 be kept warm and sheltered. they will trample each other,when 1 sees of smells blood,the will gang up on that 1 and kill it and eat it too.


#2, to have A good laying stock you need to buy 10,000


chicks to get 1,000 that might lay eggs.


#3, what ever you see on T.V. about raising any Animal is


So condensed they leave a lot out.


Take it from A guy who grew up on A farm your best bet is raising HOGS or Cattle.. Birds are A pain in the A**.


Except 4 Mallard Ducks.. Smart Protective and Loving..


I had 2 and these birds bonded with me and we went
