Where can I get free legal advice on the internet?

Any free legal advice on the internet is probably worth exactly what you are paying. There are lots of lawyers that do not charge for the initial consultation, try one of them.Where can I get free legal advice on the internet?
You can't.

Legal advice will be specific to your individual requirements. The best that you can get, for free, on the internet is some general assistance and pointers. The reason is that a lot of (potentially) personal info would need to be gathered in order to give you specific advice that is tailored to your needs.

There are places that you can visit on the internet that offer advice comparatively cheaply. You would, however, be far better off either seeking advice under the Legal Aid scheme (see link for providers in your area within the range that you require) or having a word with the CAB or some similar advice agency (e.g. Shelter).Where can I get free legal advice on the internet?

That depends.....

Do you want it to be GOOD advice OR BAD advice?

If you want bad advice, anyone can give you that.

If you want good advice, you can't get that on the Internet. WARNING!

Suggestion: Call your local (usually county) bar association. Ask them for names of attorneys that handle your type of matter. (Don't tell them all the little details - save the details for your new lawyer.)

When you call the law office(s), ask to speak to the Attorney. Do NOT tell all of the little details to the Secretary that answers the phone. Repeat that you wish to speak to the Lawyer. When you get the Attorney on the phone, ask him/her #1 first thing:

- how much is the fee?

- do they have a free first initial consultation?

- do they take payments?

- can they help you? OR refer you to someone who can help you?

Good luck.
