Does anyone know where I can get legal advice for free in Pa for real estate law?

My husband and I bought our house in 2004... we just realized that our back addition does not have a foundation under it... The lawyer we went to see said that we have a case but it is going to cost us 5000.00 to MAYBE win 20000.00 what can we do?Does anyone know where I can get legal advice for free in Pa for real estate law?
You can consulate with another real estate attorney and see what he or she tells you. Please do not seek or follow any legal advice from a anyone who is not an attorney. If someone is giving you legal advice and they are not licensed by the state bar, they are far from ethical and their answers may not be legal or reliable.

Besides, they are practicing law without a licenseDoes anyone know where I can get legal advice for free in Pa for real estate law?
Try to find a lawyer that will take the case on a contingency basis. He collects a percentage of the winnings, but you don't pay anything if you don't win. You would pay close to the same amount, but not upfront and nothing if he doesn't win your case.
You do need to check around for another attorney and see if you can find one who specializes in Real Estate Law. Were there any disclosure papers with the purchase contract that addressed structure, water damage, termite, etc? Some states have these and if the sellers lie on them there is usually more involved then just the repair. Also, see if you have a copy of the appraisal done on the property by the lender. Look over the appraisal and see if there is anything noted on there. I would think that the Appraiser would have caught this but I'm not one this is based on my experience working with them in Ohio.

This is just one of the things I hate about this business is the jerks that do this stuff to people and you're left trying to figure out where to go. I hope you find someone who will take this and dig everything they can out of it for you. Best of luck.
Check around. There may be a lawyer who will do it for free contingent on getting rewarded if you win.

Sounds like an interesting case ... but a lousy situation.

Good luck.
