Where can I get free medical advice?

Can I call up a doctor/specialist (gastroenterologist) and ask a question if I tell them I can't afford their service? I just want to ask two questions.

most doctors won't talk to someone who is not their patient, but you can try finding a clinic or go to the ER (though THAT is why the wait is hours and hours)
