Malaysian(lawyers) do you offer free legal advice to the needy?

I was thinking of creating a firm which offers free legal advice to those who can't afford it. Used to do so back in Arizona. I have the capital ,but I am short on man power.Besides I need to study the Malaysian law too. Do you know how and where I could find help?Malaysian(lawyers) do you offer free legal advice to the needy?
i would think the government or law council would have such non profit or legal aid organisation. im not sure i heard new lawyers are required to do some probono work. otherwise nuh highly unlikely a private law firm would be giving free advice... thats like... see a pig climb the tree.

anyway. well if you are trained overseas, and intend to return to malaysia, betcha have to do clp. which well i heard is extremely hard to pass if you dont have connections or ahem ahem the protected species. but it's not impossible :)

good luck mateMalaysian(lawyers) do you offer free legal advice to the needy?
No sir, never heard of such firm.

There are like MANY MANY MANY lawyers and fresh graduate legal students in Malaysia and ..attorney and solicitors (peguam care dan peguam bela) firm in penang alone.

We don't have much welfare activities going on here in Malaysia....

I'm no lawyer , i'm no big shot but i can tell you this, it is a good idea of trying to lend a helping hand.God bless you.

Suggestion :

Get a Malaysian citizenship,do what you have to do and go get it on. Good luck sir!
