I was just wondering if you know of any website/company/people that give free advice on home remodelling? I'm looking forward to remodel an apartment in central London.

Gathering samples is a great way to begin. If you are starting with a color, your samples might include fabric, paint chips, wallpaper, carpet, wood, stone, and tile.

Home and Garden web sites. There is a lot of great information there. Good luck on your move and remember when you remodel, make it you, not another's ideas that you can not live with, and take your time. I found that by waiting a few months before starting on a project, I was looking at things differently and went in another direction for the remodeling.
Check on the websites of some of the paint companies (Dulux, Crown etc) - they often have packages you can download, whereby you can put a pic of your own rooms in there and manipulate the image to get different effects. Or even perhaps B%26amp;Q or Homebase.
There are lots of good sites out there that offer advice that will help you out. http://www.kitchenskey.com/ This is a good one for ideas and what your options are. It helped me when I was remodeling my kitchen a few years back.
